She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Edward and Dora Ruth Grogan (Hilton); her husband Richard Dale Byers; and her siblings, Reva Underwood, James and Larry Grogan.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Scott Byers (Mary) of Pocatello, ID, Jane Goodwin (Timothy) of Bedford, Teresa Chestnut (Michael) of Indianapolis and Diana Pannell (Kevin) of Indianapolis; her grandchildren, Sara of Bloomington, Andrew Goodwin of Bloomington, Stephanie Colvin (Scott) of Zionsville, Dustin Chestnut of Indianapolis, John Byers (Kaylynn) of Idaho and Ryan Byers of Idaho; and her great grandchildren, Cate, Alice, Wyatt Colvin and Lucas Byers.
The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the Special Olympics.
