She is survived by: her husband Duane Chastain; her daughters, Madelyn Nelson (Lee), Marilyn Wessell (Adam) and Elizabeth Chastain; her sisters, Wilma Griffin, Judy Sater and Juanita Adkins; and her niece Tammy Stalcup Williams. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and her favorite dogs.
