She was predeceased by: her parents, William Charles and Agnes Johnson; and her daughter Pamela Sykes. She is survived by: her spouse Chester Sykes; and her children, Wanda Stewart, Betty Kern (Larry), Lester Treece, Carrie Spires, Dallas Wayne Sykes (Betty), Shirley Nelson (Andy), Donna Richardson, Faye Spicer and James D. Sykes. She is also survived by granddaughter; four brothers; and two sisters.
