He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard May and Phyllis May (Turner). He is survived by: his wife Margit Beck of Bedford; and his children, Robert L. May (Tina) of Oklahoma City, OK, Bernard May (Jessyka) of Evansville, Blake May of Bedford, Tiffany Collingsworth (Shane) of Mitchell and Mary Robinson of Mishawauga, IN. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; Eleven great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
