He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Russell and Anna Mary Blackwell (Anderson); and his sister Pamela Blackwell. He is survived by: his son Barry Blackwell of Linton; his grandchildren, Tyler Cliver, Jacob Blackwell and Cheyenne Rickelman; and his siblings, William R. Blackwell of Bedford, Carolyn Jane Presslar of Bedford, Susan Sowders of Heltonville, Robin Silvers of Hardinsburg and Kim Greer of Bedford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
