She was predeceased by: her parents, Dwight W. Prow and Virginia Beatrice Prow (Earley); her husband Chester L. Elkins; and her siblings, Kenneth, Dwight Prow and Phyllis Kinder.
She is survived by: her sons, Preston Elkins (Ruth Ann) and Greg Elkins (Traci); her sister Vicky Woody (Jon); and her grandchildren, Crystal Powell, Jeremy Elkins, Alison Oliver, Blaine Parker, Jonathan Woody, Alecia Bentley, Andrea Jones and Derick Eagan. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Day & Carter Mortuary (1133 Lincoln Ave, Bedford, IN 47421). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
