Mary Johnson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Johnson of Bedford, Indiana, who passed away on June 10, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Holmes and Nettie Holmes (Kitchen); her daughter Carol Jones; her great grandchild Joseph Jones III; her former husband Gilbert Herndon; her husband Alvin Johnson; and her siblings, Carlos Holmes, Doug Holmes, James Holmes, Mamie Meador and Ruby Graves.
She is survived by: her children, Walter Herndon (Debbie) of Terre Haute, Ruth Anne Hill of Bedford and Mariam Murphy (Jeffrey) of Greenwood. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
