She was predeceased by: her parents, Augie Endris and Rhea Dawn Endris (Fields); her husband Don Graves; her children, Herman, Julie and Laura; and her siblings, Morris, Bill, Fritz Endris and Catherine Ann Endris.

She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Johnson (Jim) of Bedford, Lisa Burton (Dave) of Bedford, Emily Rubley (Todd) of Houston and Gina Graves of La Plata, Maryland; her grandchildren, Brittain Swetalla Harts (Jon) of Chicago, Clint Hewetson of Chicago, Jessica Hewetson Gruber (Joel) of Chicago, Meredith Rich of Chicago, Dain Swetalla of Victoria, Nate Swetalla (Athena) of Valpraiso, Dirk Hewetson (Mina) of Seattle, Joshua Burton (Amanda) of Solsbury and Angela Brewer (Travis) of Bedford; her siblings-in-law, Neil Graves (Sue), Joe Reed, Barbara Graves, Faye Graves and Linda Endris; and her siblings, Toody Leggio, Dinah Hook (Tom), Louie Endris (Evelyn), Mike Endris (Janet), Vincent Endris (Lynn), Carl Endris (Linda) and Paul Endris (Jenny). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the White River Humane Society or St. Vincent's Altar Society.

Misty Watson Sears wrote a sympathy message

“Sweet Sue.... I found a card months ago that I wanted to send you. It was about laughter. I procrastinated, as always. I sure wish I'd sent it so you'd know what your laughter gave to others. I will pray for comfort for your girls, siblings and grandchildren. I can only imagine the deep loss they're feeling. Their loss is truly a great one for this world. May you laugh eternally. I pray I get to see you and miss Lowa should I be blessed enough to join you someday. Until then, you'll be missed.”
