He was predeceased by: his parents, James G. Kern and Rosemary Lytton Kern; his brother Clay Jordan Kern; and his nephew Clint Egger. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his aunt Guyeula Bundy Kern; his sister Katherine "Kitty" Warren (Jay); his children, Kristen Short (Robert), Alexander Kern (Sarah) and Megann Beck (Jeremy); and his grandsons, Jackson and Henry. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation and memorial services will be held Saturday, December 1st at First Baptist Church, Bedford, 1:00 P.M. until the service hour at 3:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in honor of LC to First Baptist Church or Fayetteville Community Lions Club.
