She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Stanley G. Hawkins and Mary Hawkins (Payton); her husband Arthur M. Potts; and her siblings, Pansey (Wayne Foreman), Annetta Fern and Vernon Hawkins (Claudia).

She is survived by: her children, David Potts of Huron, IN, Kerri L. Yingst of Florida and Terri Yingst. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
