He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur "Pat" and Josephine Dwyer (Hill); his wife Connie Lee Baldwin; and his siblings, Carl Sipes, Barbara Jean Dwyer, Tweedle McCann and Patsy Coleman.
He is survived by: his children, David, Kathy Dwyer of Columbus, IN, Mark Dwyer of New Hampshire and Rachel Fields of Bedford; his daughter-in-law Becky Dwyer of Mitchell; his grandchildren, Michael, Melissa Dwyer of West Lafayette, IN, Matthew, Ashley Dwyer of Columbus, IN, Shannon Dwyer of Indianapolis, IN, Heather (Dwyer), Eric Taylor of Bedford, James Dwyer of Columbus, IN, Elizabeth Dwyer of Columbus, IN and Patrick Fields of Bedford; and his sister Claris Melvin of Bedford. He is also survived by eight great granddaughters.
