He was predeceased by: his parents, Oran "Sam" R. Houston and Helen Marie Houston (Lewis); his daughter Rebecca Suzanne Houston (Becky); his sister Janice Ford; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Ford, Richard Matuga, Joe Matuga and Metro Kondratick.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Barbara Matuga; his wife Barbara Ann Houston (Matuga) of Bedford; his daughter Krista Parnin (Tom) of Hendersonville, TN; his grandsons, Noah and Joshua Parnin of Hendersonville, TN; his sister Sammie Kay Polley (Jim) of Bedford; his cousin Nancy Goodman of Toledo, Ohio; and his sisters-in-law, Pam Matuga of Knoxville, TN and Joan Kondratick of Rockville, MD.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rebecca "Becky" Suzanne Houston Memorial Scholarship Fund or the Fayetteville Community Lions Club.
