He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis W. Hawkins and Minnie Marie Hawkins (Coombs); and his wife Sandra Kay Maddox. He is survived by: his children, Justin Hawkins (Shauna) of Bedford and Misty Johnson (Dustin) of Bedford; his grandchildren, Trace Hawkins (Katie), Lane Hawkins, Jeslyn Martin (Levi) and Dalton Johnson; and his great grandchild Willis Allen Hawkins.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene.
