He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville "Buck" Arthur and Gleeda Arthur (Medlock); his wife Alma M. Sasser; his siblings, Barbara C. Turner, Richard and Bill Arthur; his sister-in-law Betty Goodman; and his nieces, Tracy Wolff and Renee Summers.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Jeanne Depenbrok (Steve) of Arizona, Melissa Hassler (Don) of Bedford, Adam Sasser (Dana) of Bedford, Scott Sasser (Robin) of Bedford and Billy Don Arthur of Bedford; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Angel Hawkins (Heath), Tanner Summers, John Wolff, Zach, Isaiah Sasser, Brooke Ritz and Sadie Sasser; his brother-in-law Alben Sasser (Jonna) of Bedford; and also Lilly.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hilltop Cemetery or Oolitic Pentecostal Church.
