She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Abel and Mary Abel (Fish); her husband Carl R. Gootee; and her son Eric Gootee. She is survived by: her children, Scott Gootee (Vanessa) of Gulf Breeze, FL and Emily Eagan of Bedford; her daughter-in-law Bethany Godsey-Gootee of Bedford; her grandchildren, Dillon Eagan (Kennedy), Katlyn Eagan, Marissa Gootee, Ashlyn Eagan, Amanda Gootee, Wilder Gootee, River Gootee and Lexi Gootee; and her brothers, Gene Abel (Kerri), Jerry Abel (Janice) and Rusty Abel.
