He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Frances Kent and Robert William Kent, Sr.; his former wife Helen; his son Monte Duncan; and his siblings, Ruth Kent, Bob "Buddy" Kent and Leona Stroud.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Russell of Tucson, AZ, Jeff Kent of Mitchell, Charles Meadows (Melanie) and Vicki Phillips (Rob); his grandchildren, Logan Russell (Danielle Marchi), Jonathon Shirazi, Jaclyn Murray (Matt), Eric, Derek, Brooklyn and Dorian Duncan; and his siblings, Roger Kent of Bloomington, David Kent (Wilma Sage) of Mitchell, Donnie Kent of Oakland, CA, Agatha Kimble of Mitchell and Regina Long of Freedom. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.
