He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Archie, Joan Turner, John and Laveda Chastain. He is survived by: his parents, Doug Chastain and Patty Chastain (Turner) of Bedford; his sister Jessica Chastain of South Dakota; his son John Wyatt Chastain of Waycross, GA; his stepdaughter Jaeylynn Edge of Waycross, GA; and his aunts, Paula Fraley of Florida, Polly Shields of Corydon and Brenda Hedge (Robert).
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Day & Carter Mortuary (1133 Lincoln Ave, Bedford, IN 47421). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
