He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Earl and Lorene Waterford (Alexander); his siblings, Claudia Greene, Ruth Floyd, Florence Jacobs, Betty Sawyer, Joe Waterford, Jack Waterford and Don Waterford; and his son-in-law Shadd Snoddy.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Waterford of Bedford; his daughters, Lorna Waterford (Todd Spangler) of Martinsville and Lori Ann Snoddy (Greg Bartlett) of Bedford; his grandchildren, Zayne, Jaidyn, Vance Spangler, Alexander Snoddy (Portia), Dylan Snoddy (Kelci), Coen Snoddy and Estella Bartlett; his great grandchildren, Asher, Nova, Revelry and Charlotte Snoddy; his sisters, Shirley Stevens of Bloomington and Doris Wilson of Spencer; and his sister-in-law Deanna Waterford of Harrodsburg. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Monroe County Veteran's Honor Guard or to CIPD (Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy).
