He was predeceased by: his father Michael Bales; and his stepfather Robert Ross. He is survived by: his mother Cheri Ross (Adkins) of Texas; his wife Heather Stancombe of Bedford; his daughters, Hannah Bales of Bedford and Jenna Bales of Bedford; his fiancé Kim of Tennessee; his stepgrandparents, Jimmy and Jeanine Wray of Mitchell; and his parents-in-law, Mike and Donetta Kline of Bedford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
