He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Spaulding and Dorsie Spaulding (Perry); and his son Darren Spaulding. He is survived by: his wife Martie Spaulding (Medlock) of Bedford; his children, Leah Lee (Bryan) of Keller, Texas and Bryce Spaulding (Melissa) of Fort Worth, Texas; his stepdaughters, Mandy Ward (Chris) of Bedford and Autumn Bailey (Kevin) of Bedford; his grandchild Rhydon Lee (Caroline); his sisters, Gaytha (Donald Tanksley) of Bedford and Renae (Jim Ratkovich) of Bedford; and his siblings-in-law, Michelle "Missy" Adams (Jeff) and Rob Medlock (Barb). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19, there will not be any funeral services at this time; however, the family will host a celebration of life at a later date.
