He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. West and Myrtle West (Short); his spouse Pattye L. White; his siblings, Edward T., Charles L. West and Ethel Louise; his uncle J. Tilden Short; and his aunts, Mary Estes (Short), Grace Moore (Short), Connie Janes (West), Mable Lawhorn (West) and Jimmie Oates (West).
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen West (Steve) of New Palestine, IN and Kelly Frietchen (Doug) of Sterling, VA; his grandchildren, Kelsey West, Nick West, Rachel Frietchen and Samantha Freitchen; and his brother Billy West (Gail) of Todd Co.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bedford Free Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
