He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Byrer and Vincie Byrer (Herndon); and his siblings, Norman Byrer, Ermil Byrer, Russell Byrer, Virgil Byrer, Betty Smith, Ann Givan, Gail Hudson and Autumn Lamb.
He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Amy Garmon (Vince) of New Albany, IN and Brent Byrer (Tammy) of Bedford; his grandchildren, Evan Garmon (Mollie), Blaine Byrer, Luke Garmon (Hayley Haws), Marissa Buess (Jeremy) and Blaze Byrer; and his great grandchildren, Skylar Garmon and Brixton Buess.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Leatherwood Christian Church.
