He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin Murphy and Imogene Murphy (Rainey); his brother Michael Dean Murphy; and his uncle Fred Paterson Murphy. He is survived by: his children, Shannon Murphy (Joseph Ross) of Bedford and Cody Murphy (Liza) of Brown Co; his grandchildren, Victoria Glass (Levi), Samantha Fleener (Zaric Priest) and Bexley Murphy; his great grandchild Leo Priest; and his sister Kathleen Parry of Bedford. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
