He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer E. Walton, Sr. and Mable Walton (Chambers); his brothers, Robert and Kenny; and his siblings-in-law, Russell E. Watson and Mildred Watson (McPike).
He is survived by: his wife Maralou Watson Walton; his sons, Larry J. Walton (Debbie) of Bedford and J. Travis Walton of Bedford; his grandchildren, Carly L. Walton of Owensboro, KY, Cody L. Walton (Sara) of Bloomington, IN, Kelsey G. Walton of Nashville, TN and Garrett L. Walton of Bedford, IN; his great grandchildren, Mason and Emmett; his sisters, Juanita Parish of Indianapolis, IN and Marjorie Miller of Indianapolis, IN; his niece Rebecca; and his nephew Roy Hillenburg of Friendswood, TX. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to the North Lawrence Community School Scholarship Foundation in remembrance of Jay.
