He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pickett and Coleen Pickett (Martin); and his son Gregory Scott Pickett. He is survived by: his wife Christine Boofer of Bedford; his children, Shannon Cook (Josh) of Orleans, Derrick Pickett (Tiffanie) of Bedford and Holli Merritt (Shayne) of Indianapolis; his grandchildren, Ethan Pickett, Haylee Pickett, Baylee Pickett, Kenzi Brown, Bella Brown, Peyton Pickett, Emma Cook, Madison Cook and Coleen Merritt; and his sister Sharon Brimberry (Randy) of Sheridan.
