He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Wayne and Bertha Butler (Rose); and his sister Rosalie Foddrill. He is survived by: his wife Carol Pipher of Bedford; his children, Jason Butler of Morrisville, NC, Justin Butler of Bedford, Amy Stockman (Jim) of Bedford, Jarrod Butler (Danielle) of Bloomington and Rob Lynch of Bedford; and his grandchildren, Sydney Brock, Jackson Butler, Fox Butler, Ava Butler, Aleah Butler, Seth Stockman, Isaiah Stockman, Kinley and Kyson Butler. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
