It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Jane Kassen of Bedford, Indiana, born in New Paris, Ohio, who passed away on April 16, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Kinney and Alice Kinney (Watts); her former husband Thomas Darnell; and her sister Elizabeth Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Kassen; and her children, Stephen Darnell (Mary Beth), Julia Whisman (Al), Joseph Darnell (Lynn) and Kenneth Darnell (Jennifer). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
