She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward and Claudie Benefield (Wheeler); her husband Paul Raymond Kern of Lawrence County; and her sister Erma Jean Anderson (Lewis). She is survived by: her children, Raymond Kern (Susie) of Bedford and Paula Teague (Kenneth) of Bedford; her grandchildren, Adam Kern (Jennifer) of Seattle, WA, Andrea Rope (Josh) of Bedford, Amber Chastain of Bedford, Brady Wayne Turner (Brandy) of Plainfield, Amanda Gallagher (Casey) of Kissimmee, FL, William Teague (Abbey) of Mitchell, Daniel Teague (Lourdes) of Kokomo, Dustin Teague of Bedford, Brandon Teague of Bedford, Kelly Nicole Teague of Bedford and Samuel Teague of Bedford; and her great grandchildren, Lucas, Peyton Chastain, Addison, Oliver Rope, Hanna Webb (Mason), Will, Aynsley Dixon, Joshua Teague, Peter Gallagher and Carol Jean "C. J.".
