He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Lewis and Susie Lewis (Quinn); his son Donald Lewis; and his siblings, Gerald Lewis, Pauline Hodson and Faye Hall.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Lindley; his children, David Lewis (Rebecca) of Indianapolis, Brenda Kaiser (Rodney) of Bedford and Janet Stroud of Shoals; and his siblings, Judy Woosley (Richard) of French Lick and James "Jim" Lewis (Shirley) of Lost River. He is also survived by six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
