He is survived by: his sister Brenda Patton of Mitchell; his stepbrothers, Dean Johnson, Bill Johnson and Gerald Johnson; his niece Adonica Grissom of Mitchell; his nephews, Josh Grissom and Ethan Grissom; and also Billy of Mitchell.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the Highview Church.
