It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris C. (Blackburn) Fountain of Bedford, Indiana, who passed away on February 1, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyrus Blackburn and Mabel Blackburn (Fortner); her husband John W. Fountain; and her sister Ruth Emmert. She is survived by: her children, John W. Fountain, II (Debbie) of Paoli, Jerry Lee Blackburn Fountain (June) of Bedford and Susan Gayle Cessna (James) of Mitchell; her grandchildren, Heather Cessna Stigall (Jeremy), Erin Fountain of Orleans, Paul Fountain (Janice), Bryan Fountain (Austin) and Lindsay Fountain Wilson (Ben); her great grandchildren, Seth, Abigail, Jase Fountain, Heather Haley Stigall, Caleb and Logan Wilson; and her brothers, Russell Blackburn of Bedford and Donald Blackburn of Bedford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks and social distancing are required.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the Lawrence County 4-H Council.
