He is survived by: his wife Clara Baker of Bedford; his children, Donald E. Parker, Jr. (Julie) and Misty McDonald (Marty); his son-in-law Robbie Meadows; his grandchildren, Jama Parker, Jennifer, Parker, Heather Sargent (Thomas), Brooklynn McClusky (Eli) and Logan McDonald (Allie); his great grandchildren, Jailynn, Aidon Jo, Kaylee and Brentley; and his sister Robbyn Parker-Murphy.
The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to Lawrence County 4-H or Lawrence County Cancer Patient Services.
