He was predeceased by: his parents, David Sr. Lemons and Norma Lemons (Bond). He is survived by: his children, April Simpson (Shannon) of Bedford, Brett Lemons (Casey) of Mitchell and Brandi Embree (Ryan) of Indianapolis; his grandchildren, Clayton Allen, Gavyn Lemons, Owen Lemons and Lucy Embree; his brother Bill Lemen; his niece Paige Lemen; and his nephews, Jake and Grant Lemen.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Church of Christ.
