He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Melvin and Marjorie V. Melvin (Wilhoite); and his brother Ronnie Melvin. He is survived by: his former wife Debra Prince; his wife Debbie of Bedford; his daughter Hillary Hedge (Mark); his granddaughters, Jaidyn Muholland and Baileigh Hedge; and his nephew Bryan Melvin.
