She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Walker and Mary Walker (Taylor); her son Mark Kern; her grandson Dylan Kern; her son-in-law Roger Gales; and her brother Eugene Walker (Joan).
She is survived by: her husband Corky Kern of Bedford; her daughters, Teresa Saunders and Susan Gales; and her grandchildren, Christopher Anderson (Michelle), Angela Pedersen (Chris), Andrew Kern (Kelsey), Bethany Bell (Chris), Jordan Morris (Mindy), Chris Gales (Amy), Rachel Gales and Katy Holmes (Zac). She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Sherwood Oaks Christian Church or Indian Creek Baptist Camp.
