We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2023, at the age of 96, Betty J. Keel of Bedford, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fielden Sanders and Irene Sanders (Cowin); her husband Andrew Jack Keel; and her siblings, Flossie Sanders, Evelyn L. Schuyler, Nellie Brown, Elizabeth Mullens, Vernice Patterson, Mary Payne, Frank Israel Sanders, Archie Sanders and Clarence Sanders.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Evelyn Sowders of Bedford, Gary Allen Keel (Caroline) of Oriental and Parry Ike Keel (Beverly R.) of Apache Junction, Arizona; and her sister Norma Jean Ray of Shelbyville.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or to the Disabled American Veterans through the funeral home.
