She was predeceased by: her parents, William Taylor and Fannie Taylor (Chastain); her husband Paul Fields; her son Wilbur Fields; and her siblings, John Taylor, Opal Dale Mullis, Imogene Crane, Vernell Rainey and Hildred Taylor.
She is survived by: her son William D. Fields (Wilma) of Bedford; her daughter-in-law Judith Fields of Oolitic; and her grandchildren, Scott Fields (Dana) of Greenwood, Garrick Fields (Marsha) of Oolitic, Lisa Tran (Quang) of Bedford and Kristin Wintin (Frank) of Bedford. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.
