He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alonzo C. Earl and Mabel Earl (Leatherman); his wife Carolyn Earl (Tow); his children, Gary Lee Earl (Beverly) and Tim Dale Earl (Tina); his grandchildren, Kayla Dalton (Josh), Kelsey Strunk (Jordan), Kristopher Earl (Marea Enochs) and Wyatt Earl; his great grandchildren, Payton Dalton, Olivia Strunk and Hudson Strunk; and his sister Sara Hall. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins He is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, two brothers and one brother.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church.
