With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alma A. Jones of Bedford, Indiana, who passed away on November 19, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Holmes and Jenny Holmes (Robertson); her former husband Fred Turner; her sons, Tim and Steve Turner; her former husbands, Art Ray and Cletus Waggoner; her grandsons, Matthew S. Turner, Ryan Ward, Jacob and Jared Borden; and her siblings, Imogene Kursner, Little Donna and Clayton Holmes.
She is survived by: her husband Samuel E. "Gene" Jones of Bedford; her daughter Jill VanTine of Avoca; her daughters-in-law, Patty Bex (Bob) of Bedford and Martha Turner of Bloomington; her stepchildren, Mike Jones (Nancy) of Troy, MI and Kimberly Romanchik (Jim) of Independence, OH; her grandchildren, Angela Chase, Jaden Borden, Kristin Lintz, Roz Turner, Graham Jones, Aaron Jones, Kelsey Jones, Andrew Romanchik and Emma Franchino; her great grandchildren, Taylor, Ashley Chase, Lauren Hillenburg, Garrett Turner, Dianna Turner, Henry Jones, Braden Smith and Blaine Lintz; her great great grandchildren, Mason Hillenburg and Hadlei Smith; and her grandchildren, Corrie Flynn and B. J. Lintz. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
