She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Gruenke and Eugenia Gruenke (Wahl); her husband Charles William Shoaf; her sister Mary Gruenke; her grandson Kyle Richardson; and her daughter-in-law Nancy Richardson.
She is survived by: her children, Benjamin Richardson (Rhonda) of Lexington, KY, Juliana Gray (Raymond) of Lafayette, Kurt Richardson of Lafayette and Travis Richardson (Peggy) of Frankfort; her sister Edith Grady of Florida; her grandchildren, Kurt E. Richardson, Branden Richardson (Kim), Amber Richardson Womble (Brandon), Westley Richardson (Allyssa), Jessica McVay (Luke), Brooke Williamson (Zac), Charlene Orozco (Kevin), Miranda Cord (Lucas) and Jacob Richardson; and her pets, Bruno and Buddy. She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St James Lutheran Church (800 Cincinnati St, Lafayette, IN 47901). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
