He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Kelley and Mary Kelley (Hillenbrand); his grandparents, John and Clara Hillenbrand of Batesville; his sisters, Mary Kelley and Pat Randle; and his daughter-in-law Dr. Lisa Kelley.
He is survived by: his son William J. "BJ" Kelley II of Batesville, IN; his wife Leila "Kim" Kelley of Batesville, IN; his daughters, Karen Kelley Liederbach (Kevin) of Grosse Pointe, MI and Betsy Kelley Garnica (Jeff) of Batesville, IN; his brother Robert "Bob" Kelley of Ft. Myers, FL; his grandchildren, Connor Kelley (Claire), Emily Bauer (Ryan), Blaise Liederbach (Elizabeth), Andrew Liederbach, Kelley Liederbach, William Kelley Story and Grant Earl Story; and his great grandchildren, Lena, Otto, Wilder, Blaise Thomas, Sonny William and Lila Kelley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made out to Phi Beta Psi Cancer Research – Xi Chapter or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
