He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard E. Gudgeon and Ada M. Gudgeon (Shorten); and his siblings, Donald Gudgeon, Dorothy Busteed, Ruthie Mae and Betty Jean Gudgeon.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Gudgeon (Shook) of Batesville; his children, Michael Gudgeon (Kim) of Batesville, Mandi McCoy (Doug) of Indianapolis and Shelly Hertel of Batesville; and his grandchildren, Kelsie Gudgeon, Mitchell Gudgeon, Christian McCoy and Alex McCoy.
In accordance with the Indiana COVID-19 precautions, all attending are encouraged to wear a mask and follow proper social distancing protocol.
