He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his children, Cathy Bauer of Indianapolis, Claire Werner of Batesville and Craig Werner of Batesville; his siblings, Mary Louise Werner (Oldenburg), Charlie Werner of Melbourne Beach and Don Werner of Monte Sereno, California; his grandchildren, Kyle Bauer, Hannah Lecher (Allen), Holly Bauer, Cory Werner (Jordan), Morgan Hooten (AJ) and Casey Werner; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Jaxon, Jason, Collins and Jett.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Batesville Kiwanis or the Batesville Athletic Boosters.
