We are sad to announce that on January 15, 2025, at the age of 86, Louella A. Voegele of Batesville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Scheele and Olivia Scheele (Dietz); her husband George; and her siblings, Rosemary, Arnelda and George.
She is survived by: her friend Jean Struewing; her children, Lori Giltz (Mike) of Batesville, Scott Voegele (Emily) of North Canton, Jeff Voegele (Carletta) of Noblesville, Indiana and Doug Voegele (Mandi) of Noblesville, Indiana; and her brother Fred Scheele (Ruth Ann) of The Villages, Florida..
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Louis Church Cemetery (13 St Louis Pl, Batesville, IN 47006). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Francis Chapel (22143 Main St, Oldenburg, IN 47036).
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Margaret Mary Health Cancer Center.
