She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Scheele and Olivia Scheele (Dietz); her husband George; and her siblings, Rosemary, Arnelda and George.

She is survived by: her friend Jean Struewing; her children, Lori Giltz (Mike) of Batesville, Scott Voegele (Emily) of North Canton, Jeff Voegele (Carletta) of Noblesville, Indiana and Doug Voegele (Mandi) of Noblesville, Indiana; and her brother Fred Scheele (Ruth Ann) of The Villages, Florida..

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Margaret Mary Health Cancer Center.
