He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Puente and Mabel Puente (Baker); his wife Edna Puente; his brother Charlie Puente; his grandchildren, Chelsea and Nicholas; and his great grandchild Tucker.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Schomber (Jim), Tony Puente (Ginger), Scott Puente (Cindy) and Todd Puente (Mindy); and his grandchildren, Casey, Jacob, Justin, Jenna, Jeff, Evan, Morgan, Billie, Tyler and Levi. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
Memorials can be given to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or March of Dimes by bringing to the services or mailing to Meyers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 202, Batesville, IN 47006.
