He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Hartman; his children, Theresa of Indianapolis, Kathy Hertel (Andy) of Batesville, Francis J (Jody) of Batesville, Jean Bischoff (Tony) of St Leon, Sharon Fisk (Jack) of Brookville, Ron (April) of Batesville, Nick (Kathleen) of Weisenburg, Joe (Teresa) of Westport, Richard of Batesville, Robert of Batesville, Rose Obermeyer (Randy) of Batesville and Mary Ellison (Greg) of Hilton Head; and his sister Edith Aulbach of Elizabethtown, KY. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
