Esther Bertha Bausback Obituary
Esther Bertha Bausback, age 90 of Batesville, formerly of Greensburg, IN passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 at St. Andrews Health Campus, Batesville. The daughter of Raleigh and Bertha (nee: Hildebrand) Gutapfel was born on June 8, 1927 in Dearborn County, IN. Esther married Emerson 'Gene" E. Bausback on August 22, 1975.
Esther was the former owner and operator of the Twin Oak Store just east of Morris, IN. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Hubbles Corner, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #147 in Greensburg and of the Shrine Guild in Greensburg. Esther is survived by her sisters Ann Marie Clemenz of Greensburg, Ruth Huber of Batesville, brothers Raleigh Gutapfel Jr. and Cletus Gutapfel both of Sunman; 13 nieces and nephews; step daughter, Marlene Boylan of California and Danny Bausback of Greensburg.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Alvin Gutapfel and step son Larry Bausback. Visitation will be Monday from 4:30-7:30pm with Funeral Services at 10:30am on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville. Pastor June Fryman officiating. Burial will follow in the South Park Cemetery in Greensburg, IN.
Memorials may be given to St. John Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall or Shriner"s Hospital for Children c/o the funeral home.
