She was predeceased by: her husbands, Melvin Steingruber and Ralph Stirn; and her siblings, Dorothy Cook, Ann Waugaman, Hazel Vierling, Alma Vierling, Wanda Amberger, Alvin Schutte and Robert Schutte.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Bedel (Steve), Sue Mauer (Jerry) and Stephen Steingruber; her stepchildren, Barb Lehmkuhl (Rick) and Steve Stirn (Brenda); and her grandchildren, Matt Bedel (Jackie), Renee Bedel (Jason Pierson), Curt Mauer (Katie Hunter), Stacy Weisenbach (Matt), Eric Mauer (Christina), Amanda Stirn and Sara Schultz (Dustin). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Marks Lutheran Church (208 W Pearl St, Batesville, IN 47006). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
