We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2019, at the age of 64, David H. Wallpe (Batesville, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Wallpe and Loretta Wallpe of Morris, Indiana.; and his sisters, Bernice Brebberman (Don) and Marceda Metz (Bill). He is survived by: his wife Shelly; and his siblings, Elaine Bentfield (Charles), Willard Wallpe (Donna), Rita Baumer (John), Lucy Sheldon (Robert), Joe Wallpe (Therese) and Nancy Sander (Gary). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and treasured friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the Knights of Columbus Building Fund or a charity of your choice.

“Our deepest sympathy! Scrub was such a gracious, kind-hearted person! He had a servant’s heart!! A fond memory of him was when he would walk the dog by Catholic Charities; always a bright spot in our day!. A man and his dog; he certainly loved them! And he sure could “grill” up some great tasting food! I think he was really proud of that fancy-dancy Cadillac of a grill he had! It was such a privilege to have known him! We love you, Shelly! Our prayers are with you!”
