He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Erhardt of Morris; his children, Sandra Zeigler (Greg) of Batesville, Randal Grunkemeyer (Sandra) of Morris, Dale Grunkemeyer (Linda) of Morris, Steven Grunkemeyer of Morris, Glenn Grunkemeyer (Kim) of Greensburg, Chris Grunkemeyer (Mindy) of Batesville and Roy Grunkemeyer (Patti) of Sunman, Indiana; his sister Rosella Billman of Sunman; his grandchildren, Renee Gutzwiller, Danielle Grunkemeyer, Ryan Grunkemeyer, Justin Grunkemeyer, Michaela Todd, Mariah Schwegman, Bailey Grunkemeyer, Clayton Grunkemeyer, Jack Grunkemeyer, Ethan Grunkemeyer and Kody Grunkemeyer; and his great grandchildren, Charlie, Posie, Prim Schwegman, Gus, Miles Gutzwiller, Brody and Walter Grunkemeyer.
